Terms of Service
Last updated: August 29, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Storadata, a document management service provided by Piklok S.r.l. ("Piklok", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in Italy, registered office in Portici (NA), Italy, VAT number 09545701212. By creating an account or using Storadata, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Storadata lets organizations store, organize, search and edit documents, using folder-level forms to require metadata before a file is accepted, together with automatic versioning and in-browser editing of office documents.
Storadata is currently offered on an early-access basis. Features, availability and pricing may change as the product evolves; we will give reasonable notice of material changes affecting existing customers.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
An account belongs to an organization. The person who creates the organization, and anyone they grant administrative rights to, can manage members, folders and permissions within it.
3. Your content
You retain all rights to the documents and data you upload to Storadata ("Customer Content"). We do not claim ownership over it. We process Customer Content only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and store the content you put into Storadata, and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party right.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Storadata to store or distribute unlawful content, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other customers' data, or to interfere with the normal operation of the service.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, giving notice where practicable.
5. Infrastructure and sub-processors
Storadata is built on third-party infrastructure. As of the date above, this includes: Supabase (database, authentication and backend functions), Cloudflare (file storage via R2), and Hetzner Online GmbH (the server running our document-editing component). A current list of sub-processors is available on request.
We select infrastructure providers that maintain appropriate technical and organizational security measures, and we remain responsible for Customer Content under these Terms regardless of which provider stores it.
6. Availability
We aim to keep Storadata available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided "as is" during the early-access period, without warranties of any kind beyond what is required by mandatory law.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Piklok's aggregate liability arising from or related to these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or €100 if you have not made any payment.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Italian law, including liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
8. Termination
You may stop using Storadata and delete your organization's account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for material breach of these Terms, after reasonable notice where circumstances allow.
Upon termination, Customer Content is retained for a limited period to allow export, then deleted in accordance with our data retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify account administrators by email or in-app notice before the changes take effect.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute not resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Naples, Italy, save for mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply.
